Delivery Time: 10-12 days
MHC I Dextramers®
MHC Multimers such as Dextramers® are used for detection, enumeration and isolation of antigen-specific T cells in fluid cell samples (PBMC, blood) by flow cytometry, and can be applied to tissue sections to visualize antigen-specific T cells in situ.Fields of application are vaccine and immunotherapeutic development, clinical trials, immune monitoring of transplantation patients, patients with HIV and many more. The MHC class I Dextramers® combine a dextran polymer backbone with a high number of MHC and fluorochrome molecules. This enhances their staining intensity, thereby increasing resolution and the signal-to-noise ratio with minimal background staining. In addition, the polymer backbone stabilizes the MHC-peptide complexes and fluorochromes.
Benefits of MHC I Dextramers®
- More MHC molecules and more fluorochromes than conventional MHC multimers (e.g. tetramers)
- Higher sensitivity (important for low affinity epitopes as commonly found in cancer & autoimmune disease)
- Very stable
- Custom-made Dextramers® available upon request
