Indication(s)/Topic(s): Cancer, Cancer chemotherapy, Control, Melanoma, Vaccination
Delivery Time: 10-12 days
MHC I Dextramer Collections
MHC class I Dextramers combine a dextran polymer backbone with a high number of MHC and fluorochrome molecules providing mulitple binding domains for antigen-specific T cell receptor binding. This enhances their staining intensity and increases resolution as well as signal-to-noise ratio with minimal background staining. In addition, the dextran backbone stabilizes the MHC-peptide complexes and fluorochromes. The Melanoma set is useful for enumeration of melanoma-specific CD8+ T cells, to detect or isolate melanoma-specific CD8+ T cells, e.g. during cancer vaccine and immunotherapeutic development. Each Dextramer is provided both as a PE- and APC conjugate, allowing for double staining of each cell sample to better resolve positive from negative cell populations.
The following 7 Dextramers are provided each with APC and PE label
Dextramer: HLA-A*0201 / ELAGIGILTV - Antigen: MART-1
Dextramer: HLA-A*0201 / SLLMWITQV - Antigen: NY-ESO-1
Dextramer: HLA-A*0201 / KVAELVHFL - Antigen: MAGE-A3
Dextramer: HLA-A*0201 / YMDGTMSQV - Antigen: Tyrosinase
Dextramer: HLA-A*0201 / IMDQVPFSV - Antigen: gp100
Dextramer: HLA-A*0201 / KVLEYVIKV - Antigen: MAGE-A1
Dextramer: HLA-A*0201 / Negative Control
Benefits of MHC I Dextramer® Collections
- More MHC molecules and more fluorochromes than conventional MHC multimers
- Higher sensitivity (important for low-affinity epitopes as commonly found in cancer & autoimmune disease)
- High stability
- Custom-made Dextramer available upon request
