JPT's SpikeMix™ ABRF (cross-species standard)
JPT and the Proteomics Standards Research Group of ABRF developed a pool of 1000 heavy labeled proteotypic peptides for conserved proteins across these three species: rat, mouse and human. SpikeMixes™ enable the standardization of mass spectrometry based proteomics assays. The SpikeMix™ ABRF (cross-species standard) peptide pool was designed for quantitative mass spectrometric assay development and relative protein quantification. The mixed peptides are stable isotope labeled (heavy Arg U-13C6;U-15N4 or Lys U-13C6;U-15N2).
